Bacon-Potato Chowder

8 slices bacon, cut into 1” pieces
2 1/2 c. cubed potatoes
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. sour cream
1 1/4 c. milk or half & half
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 T. green pepper
1 T. red pepper

Cook bacon 5 minutes. Add potatoes and onion. Cook until tender. Add sour cream, milk, chicken soup, corn, pepper and thyme. Heat through. Garnish with cheese. Meal in less than 1/2 hour!

Note: Precooked potatoes or frozen hash browns can be used.
