2 lb. frozen hash browns (thawed about 1/2 hour)
1 c. diced onion
1 can cream of chicken soup, or cream of mushroom
1 (1 lb.) ctn. sour cream
1/2 c. margarine, melted
8 oz. Cheddar cheese or Velveeta cheese
Salt & pepper, to taste
Mix all ingredients. Put into a 9×13-inch pan. Cover with crushed corn flakes. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
