Potato Casserole (2)

1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, not shredded
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 T. onion flakes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. grated American cheese
2 c. crushed potato chips

Mix well and cover with 1/2 cup melted butter. Top with the crushed potato chips. Bake at 350° for 1 hour in a 9×13-inch pan. This can be frozen and heated later. Good with ham.
