Potato-Cheese Waffles

2 c. mashed potatoes*
1/2 c. grated cheese (such as Velveeta, put into potatoes)
1 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick margarine, melted
*You may use leftovers or the instant kind.

Stir all together. Fry on hot waffle iron until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and your favorite syrup. Makes 8 medium waffles.
